FAYETTE — Services for Pamela Lashay Malone Herrington, 46, of Fayette, who died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Taylor Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Barney Rankin Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home-Fayette Branch.
Visitation will be from 5 to 5:45 p.m. today at the funeral home with a celebration of life wake service at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Herrington was born Aug. 24, 1971, in Chicago, the daughter of Charles Malone and Clara Mae Malone.
She attended Jefferson County High School and was a cook and team leader until her health failed. She was Baptist and a member of the Easter Star.
Pam enjoyed being with family, friends and watching “her” Dallas Cowboys.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Willie McDonald and Annie Bell McDonald.
Survivors include five sons, Derrick Malone, Trevor Malone, Devon Malone, Artavis Tenner and Keltarus Malone; two daughters, Bridget Malone and MeKeva Malone; two brothers, Shawn Malone and Marrin Malone; grandmother, Lula Mae Malone; 11 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
