NATCHEZ — Services for Shelton F. “Frankie” Miller, Jr., 59, of Maringouin, La., and formerly of Natchez, who died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 at Pointe Coupee General Hospital in New Roads, La., will be 11 a.m., Monday at the Natchez Church of God with the Rev. Brian Monehan officiating.
Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in Franklin County under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today and 9:30 a.m. Monday until service time at the Natchez Church of God.
Mr. Miller was born on July 9, 1958 in Mendenhall, to Shelton Franklin Miller Sr. and Della Smith Miller.
He was a retired computer technician for an oil field company. Mr. Miller was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law Shirley Halford, and his precious pet, Toecoe.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Levona Miller; two sons, Shane Miller and wife, Gennie, of Sulphur, La., and Douglas Miller of Maringouin, La.; four grandchildren, Logan Miller, Monica Mosley, Alexander Miller, and Emmett Miller; one sister, Melissa Rowell and husband, Kenneth; three nephews, Corey Graham, Matthew Graham and Austin Rowell; two nieces, Brittany Rowell and Bethany Moseley; one great-niece, Annaliese Boswell; father-in-law, Weldon Halford and wife Willie Mae.
Pallbearers will be Glynn Coleman, Tim Hodge, Doug McAllister, Charlie Peterson, Randy Young and Travis Trejo.
