Johnny Guice of Natchez announces the engagement of his daughter, Shelby Guice to Ray Simpson Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Ray Simpson of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Juanita Guice of Natchez.

She is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and a graduate of Meridian Community College. She is employed by Dr. Carmen Adcock as a dental hygienist.

She is the granddaughter of Robert Scott of Port LaVaca, Texas, the late Diana Scott and Cindy Scott, Nathan Guice of Roxie and the late Jeanette Guice and Mary Guice.

The groom-to-be is employed by Cantium.

He is the grandson of Mrs. N.M. Steed of Natchez and the late N.M. Steed. He is also the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ray C. Simpson of Vidalia.

The wedding will be 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at the residence of Justin and Carmen Adcock.

A reception will immediately follow at the Natchez Community Center.
