Megan Blanchard holds her daughter Aubri Blanchard, 5, while listening to ghost stories. Seven days after Aubri was born Megan’s father died. She said since his death she and her family have been finding rubber ducks at random. “We would be at a parade and someone would throw us a rubber duck, or going to the zoo and a rubber duck would be on the ground in front of us, “ she said. “One time we stopped at a gas station with nothing else around, inside there was a claw machine filled with only rubber ducks.” (Nicole Hester / The Natchez Democrat)
