SIBLEY — Services for Beatrice Green Jones, 84, of Sibley, who died Friday, Oct. 12, 2017, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Sibley with Rev. Douglas Logan officiating.    

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. today at the funeral home with a celebration of life wake service at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Beatrice was born on Dec. 30, 1932, the daughter of Grover Green and Emma Williams.  She was educated at St. Francis School in Natchez.  She was a Baptist.

Survivors include three sons, Walter Green of Natchez, Allen Jones Jr. of Nurnberg, Germany, and Donald Jones and wife, Bernice, of Waggaman, La.; four daughters, Gladys Rounds and husband, Lee, Theresa Jones, Gloria McDonald and Lora Williams and husband, Jessie; two brothers, Charles Williams and Henry Williams and wife, Irma Jean; and other relatives and friends.
