Block hopes to keep momentum as it travels this week

Block (1-5,1-1) at Montgomery (2-3, 0-4)

JONESVILLE — Block High School is set to play its second of five consecutive district games as it travels to Montgomery at 7 p.m. this Friday.

The Bears are coming off their first win this season after taking down Northwood-Lena last week, 48-6. Quarterback Zorian Bowie completed 16 of 26 passes for 400 yards and four touchdowns along with 153 rushing yards and three  more scores.

Montgomery fell to St. Mary’s last week, 56-6.
