FAYETTE — Services for Ann Marie Anderson, 86, of Fayette, who died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017, at her daughter’s residence in Gluckstadt, will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fayette Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerald Wicker officiating.

Burial will follow at Shelton Cemetery in Copiah County under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Ms. Anderson was born Aug. 12, 1931, in Rodney of Jefferson County, the daughter Joseph Vernon Arnold and Emma Louise Miller.

She studied at Hinds Business College, was a homemaker and an avid book reader. She was a librarian at the Jefferson County Library. She was instrumental in helping her husband with secretarial duties of the Shelton Family Cemetery Organization. She was diligent in researching her family ancestry and keeping genealogy records.

Ann Marie was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by family and those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harry E. Anderson.

Survivors include two daughters, Edith Wilson and husband, David, of Camden, S. C., and Sheila Lester and husband, John, of Gluckstadt; three grandchildren, Sydney Ridout and husband, Eric, and Devin and Meagan Wilson; and one great-granddaughter, Reed Ridout.

Pallbearers will be Devin Wilson, Eric Ridout, Chauncey Lee, Channing Lee, Conner Lee, Cameron Lee, Kenneth Starks, William Smith and Jimmy Wilson.
