Galloway-Kameka

Desireé Kameka and Jeffrey Galloway, both of Denver, were married Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Landsdowne Plantation before a small gathering of friends and family.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Pat Galloway of Vidalia and Heidi Speaker of Jupiter Farms, Fla., and Desmond Kameka of Dazie, Fla.
The bride’s sister, Jaclyn Reiter of Juno Beach, Fla., served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Shannon Edmiston of Choudrant, La., sister of the groom, Alexandra Ortiz of Jupiter Farms, sister of the bride, Andrea Buckler of Denver and Ashley Clayton of Athens, Ga., both friends of the bride.
The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Tristan Ortiz and Desmond Kameka, brothers of the bride, Casey Buckler, David Axelrod and Rick Hadley, all friends of the groom. Ushers were Jack McLemore III, friend of the groom, Joshua King, cousin of the groom and Cole Edmiston, brother-in-law of the groom.
The couple’s Labrador, Moses, was ring bearer with the help of Anthony Halleran, cousin of the bride. Graciella Halleran, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.
The bride wore a veil that had been worn by the groom’s mother and sister and also a vintage carved cameo lavalier belonging to the groom’s family that mirrored the pale apricot and peach colors of the wedding.
Following their stay in Natchez and a honeymoon trail ride through Texas, the Arkansas Ozarks, Kansas and Colorado, the couple will live in Denver.
