ROXIE — Services for Elbert Lee “Mr. Wilson” Wilson, 69, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at Sonny Montgomery Veterans Administration Medical Center, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Roxie First Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Bolin officiating.

Burial will follow at the Roxie Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Bude chapel and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Wilson was born June 11, 1948, in Roxie, the son of James Wilson Jr. and Ether Walker Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Christopher A. Perkins and Bryan Edward.

Survivors include three brothers, Robert Wilson and wife, Glenda, of Chicago, Michael Wilson of Warner Robins, Ga., and Jimmy Wilson and wife, Willie C., of Roxie; three sisters, Terry Gilbert of Miami, Sandra Anderson of Roxie and Rosalind Wilson of Vicksburg; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
