Forrestine Williams of Sibley announces the engagement of her daughter, Alisha Williams to Terry Shepherd, son of Lorraine Davis and the late Harry Shepherd Jr.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Debra Williams of Natchez.

She is a graduate of Natchez High School and is employed by the City of Natchez Recreation Department.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Jefferson County High School in Fayette and is employed by Day Zimmion.

He is the grandson of the late Charlie and Jonnie Johnson of Fayette and Harry and Katie Shepherd of Port Gibson.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Egypt Baptist Church in Natchez. A reception will follow at the Natchez Community Center.
