Discover power of a shoebox

Many churches and organizations around the area pack shoeboxes every year at this time for Operation Christmas Child! What a blessing this is to all of those that participate in packing a simple shoebox!
Many people collect items all year long to go into these boxes and be a part of this act of giving. Many of you purchase the barcoded shipping labels in order for your boxes to be tracked all the way to distribution into a child’s hands.
We excitedly check our emails daily looking for the one email from Samaritan’s Purse notifying us of the destination of our shoeboxes.
Other lucky volunteers are offered an opportunity to be part of the team of volunteers that gather at the airport and fly with the shoeboxes to a final destination somewhere around the world and help hand the boxes out to the children. What a blessing that must truly be!
At 4 p.m. Sunday at Parkway Baptist Church, we will be honored to have a beautiful young woman from McComb, Brooke Wells, who was one of those “especially lucky and blessed” volunteers.
Wells wants to share her fantastic adventure with all of those in the Natchez area.
The experience is nothing short of incredible!
The miracles she witnessed were nothing short of heart warming.
She was able to follow the shoeboxes to Madagascar and help hand them out.
She will share her pictures, stories, and testimony with us all at 4 p.m. Sunday.
There is no Charge to come hear Brooke’s story. Please join us for Brooke Well’s incredible journey with a shoebox!
