NATCHEZ — Services for Jocquez Lee Ivory, 18, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017, in Baton Rouge, will be 11 a.m. today at Forest Aid Baptist Church with the Rev. Michelle Brooks officiating.

Burial will follow at the Daughters of Zion Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Webb-Winfield Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Jocquez was born Dec. 28, 1998, in Natchez, the son of Jonathan and Pattie Ivory. He was a graduate of Natchez High School and attended Hinds Community College. He was employed by Angola Prison.

Jocquez was baptized at Pilgrim Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents; five brothers, Jarell Morris, Jahiem Ivory, Jonathan Ivory Jr., Jadarius Ivory and Malik Byrd; three sisters, Jonnae Ivory, Jasine Ivory and Jakayla Ivory; grandmothers, Mary Chatman and Annie Ivory; and grandfathers, Herman Phipps and Curtis Riggs.

Pallbearers will be Jimmie Sweargen, Shawn Phipps, Kelvin Sims, Eric Anderson, Junior Smith and Roger Lee Johnson.
