LARTO, La. — Services for Carlos Roy Sanders, 72, of Larto, who died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Larto Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Daniel Jordon and Bro. Christopher Lucas officiating.
Burial will follow at Nichols Cemetery in Larto under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
Mr. Sanders was born on April 18, 1945, the son of Delvin Sanders and Verbia Sanders Bordelon.
He was a resident of Larto and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include one son, Carlos R. Sanders Jr. of Natchez; one daughter, Brandi Cirilo and husband, Darrell, of Clayton; two granddaughters, Emily Moss and Madison Tyson; one brother, Donnie Sanders of Larto; and three sisters, Melba Wiley and husband, Ray, of Deville, Phyllis Wiley and husband, Mark, of Arkansas, and Angie Lucas of Larto.
Pallbearers will be Chris Lucas, Ray Wiley Jr., Mark Wiley, Chad Cross and Melvin Book.
