NATCHEZ — Services for Rosa Lee Owens, 47, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, at her residence, will be noon Saturday at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church.   

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Owens was born Nov. 9, 1969, in Natchez, the daughter of Ester Owens.

She was preceded in death by her mother; her grandmother, Rosa Lee Owens; one grandson, Leslie Robinson III; one sister-in-law, Sarah Long; one aunt, Greta Smith; and one uncle, Harry Lee Smith Sr.

Survivors include six children, Travis Owens, Kesha Owens, Lequita Owens, Lekrea Owens, Derricka Holmes and Latrice Owens; seven grandchildren, Kemone Owens, McKenzzie Brady, Jazavier Owens, Jalen Ford, Trinity Owens, Trykerria Owens and Jayla Owens; three siblings, Michael Owens, Vincent Owens and Diane Owens; one aunt, Dorothy Crumbley and husband, Ronald; four uncles, Jerry Smith, Ronald Smith, Donald Smith and wife, Denise, and Frankie Smith; two close friends, Lawanda Alexander and Debbie Singleton; seven nieces and nephews; Derrick Wilson, Deneka Wilson, Darrius Owens, Michael Owens Jr., Zavier Owens, Michelle Smith and Zachery Smith; and a number of other relatives and friends.
