Belain Dottery-Merrick of Natchez and Jim Woodley of Hattiesburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Yolonda Dottery Henderson to Melvin T. Green, son of Ernest and Delores Owens and Melvin and America Demby of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez. She is employed by National Pizza Company in Hattiesburg.

She is the granddaughter of Mary Louise Kelly of Natchez and the late Rev. Leonard and Thelma Woodley of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Natchez High School and Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez. He is employed by Hattiesburg Clinic in Hattiesburg.

He is the grandson of the late Dwight Lamar and Virginia Green and the late Adam and Eula Mae Demby, all of Natchez.

The wedding will be 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at St. Peter Baptist Church, 56 Parker St., in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow at the Natchez Community Center.
