NATCHEZ — A Natchez man was arrested early Thursday morning for allegedly selling crack cocaine.
Roger Lee Johnson, 45, 654 W. Stiers Lane, was charged with sale of schedule II drugs (crack cocaine).
Adams County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group Commander Maj. Shane Daugherty said following several undercover drug purchases in several locations, deputies executed a search warrant at Johnson’s West Stiers Lane residence and arrested Johnson.
In the residence, deputies recovered crack cocaine, $709 in cash and digital scales. Deputies also seized two vehicles, a Suburban and Avalon, and Johnson’s cell phone.
Daugherty would not say how much crack cocaine was recovered.
Daugherty said he would not go into additional detail as the investigation in the matter was ongoing.
Johnson has additional charges pending, Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said.
Johnson was in the Adams County Jail Thursday with no bond set.
