JONESVILLE — Services for Dorothy Mae Wilkerson, 90, of Jonesville, who died on July 25, 2017 at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at noon Tuesday at Moss Grove Baptist Church in Jonesville with the Rev. Thess Baker, Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time at the church

Mrs. Wilkerson was born on April 19, 1927 in Wildsville, daughter of Brazil Watson and Birdell Blackman Watson.

She was a retired nurse, a member of Moss Grove Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter Pride of Jonesville.

Mrs. Wilkerson was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George Wilkerson.

Survivors include two sons, George Monroe Wilkerson and his wife, Betty, and James Lamar Wilkerson and his wife, Donna all of Jonesville; two daughters, Barbara A. Wilkerson of Washington, D.C., and  Rutha Wilkerson-Gohagen and her husband Donald of Pontiac, Mich.; one brother, Samuel Bowie and his wife Maebell of Bunkie, La.; and six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
