NATCHEZ — Services for Rose H. “Weedie Bug” Jones, 63, of Natchez, who died Sunday, July 16, 2017, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Word of Faith Ambassadors Worship Center with the Rev. Robert L. Cade officiating.   

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jones was born Dec. 4, 1953, in Adams County, the daughter of Robert and Margie Hoggatt.

She attended Holy Family Catholic School, Adams County High School and Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She was employed by the Mississippi Department of Human Service. She retired in 2005.

Mrs. Jones was a member of Word of Faith Ambassadors Worship Center and was very active in a number of church ministries.

She was preceded in death by her father and three sons, Jerry, George and Cheaco.

Survivors include her mother; four brothers, Joseph, Michael, Christopher and Clifton; three sisters, Patricia, Edna and Melissa; two aunts, Jean and Carolyn; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Alonzo Hoggatt, Tyrone Hoggatt, Elijah Hoggatt Byrd, Samuel Hoggatt, Michael Hoggatt Jr., and Anthony Thompson.
