Ms. Mary Smith of Vidalia and Mr. Oscar Ed Fletcher of Corona, Calif., announce the engagement of their daughter, LaToya Danielle Smith to Lee Andrew McCoy III, son of Mrs. Katie McCoy and the late Mr. Lee McCoy Jr. of Vidalia.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe, La. She is employed by Concordia Parish School System.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. Edward Curtis and the late Ms. Rosa Smith of Vidalia and Mr. Joseph Fletcher and the late Mrs. Willie Mae Fletcher of Ferriday.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and a graduate Swift Transportation School. He is employed in the transportation industry.

He is the grandson of the late Ms. Corine Brown and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lee Andrew McCoy Sr. of Vidalia.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Union Baptist Church in Vidalia. A reception will follow at Concordia Community Center in Ferriday.
