WOODVILLE — Services for Johnnie Lee Woodfork, 74, of Woodville, who died Thursday, July 6, 2017, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilkinson County High School Gym in Woodville with the Rev. Charles Bell officiating.  

Burial will follow at Willie’s Hill Cemetery in Woodville under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Woodfork was born Feb. 2, 1943, in Woodville, the daughter of Terecy and Forrest Lemon.

She was a 1963 graduate of Wilkinson County High School. She was a beautician/entrepreneur. She was retired.

Mrs. Woodfork was a Baptist and served as a deaconess on the mother board.  She was also a member of Eastern Star-Emma Morris Chapter No. 12, Old River Water Association.

Mrs. Woodfork was preceded in death by her parents, a number of siblings, aunts and uncles.

Survivors include three children, Johnny Wiley, Raymond Woodfork and wife, LaShonda, and Damon Woodfork and wife, Elena; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two aunts, Sadie Mickells and husband, Al C., and Irma Jean Holt; one uncle, Warren G. Singleton; and a number of siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
