Ira Banks Jr. and Cathy Banks announce the engagement of their daughter, Tinitra Banks to David Harris Jr., son of David Harris Sr. and Tunsha Harris, all of Gloster.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Amite County High School in Liberty and a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville. She is employed by Best Buy is Hattiesburg.

She is the granddaughter of David Snowden Sr. and Carrie Snowden and the late Ira Banks Sr. and Mamie Lee Banks, all of Gloster.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Amite County High School, a graduate of Pearl River Community College in Hattiesburg and is attending University of Southern Mississippi. He is employed by Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula.

He is the grandson of the late Phillip Wiley Jr. and Juanete Christmas, James Allen Sr. and Rose Allen of Centreville and Don and Norma Pearl Arbuthnot of Lake Charles, La.

The wedding will be 3 p.m., Saturday, July 15, 2017, at the Natchez Convention Center.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
