Curt Alan Thornton was born Feb. 23, 1981, at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Johnny Thornton and Carolyn Allen.
He was baptized in 1993, at First Baptist Church in Natchez. As a child, he always enjoyed drawing and even continued as an adult. He was employed by Jordan Carriers for a number of years. He enjoyed seeing new places, and being a truck driver, he got to see many places. He had the opportunity to haul windmills which are loaded on an extremely long trailer. He was a hard worker and never met a stranger. He would do anything to help anyone out. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. It wasn’t about living the fast and dangerous life, it was about the wind blowing on him and the feeling of being free. He would spend hours working on his truck or motorcycle and children would love to watch him. He even started doing some woodwork. Curt made his mistakes, but one thing is for sure he loved his children and they loved him no matter what. He knows the kids are in a safe place and they will continue to be safe and loved.
