Thanks to all who fostered talent

In life God bless everyone of us with a talent, but it’s up to you to believe in your ability to make it a reality.
It might not happen when you want it, but God will make it happen when it’s the right time.
See, I fell in love with music at the age of eight. I sung along with every record my uncle brought home to my grandma’s house. I also love to dance too.
My best gifts of my childhood life was at 12. When my grandmother bought me a tambourine, bongo and shakers, me dad also bought my an electric guitar. I got a couple of kids together from Minor Street to form a Band of Noise, that gave all who heard it headaches.
As I became a teenager, I performed in every talent show at Sadie V. Thompson. That’s when I ran across two classmates that would change my life forever. James Berry and Kelvin Jones were the guys whom created a band by the name of Combustion Band.
I later moved on to the rap scene with a group we formed by the name of VHR in 1983 with Hollywood Green. We were the hottest rap group in the city. I have been in many groups, but solo was really my thing, after my 6 pack days.
Theodis Ealey asked me after I wrote one of my hit songs to try singing soul music. I knew I could write it because I have written hit songs for many artists.
So that’s when the manager and executive producer of my last rap record Jerry Lyles Jr. gave me the opportunity to record my first soul single under his label J-Town records.
We were doing good with the rap music because it was still new back then. However, when I released it, it got such a great response. See back then the community supported everyone. I’m on my eighth CD and the Lord has truly blessed me with after all these years.
Now my music from my new album has been picked up by radio stations world wide. My song Cowboy will feature Cupid on the remix.
I know my cousin and friend Clarence Bear Anderson is watching over me and the woman whom told me to never give up, my grandma Naomi. I miss her so much. I’m sure they are both in heaven smiling down on me. Its been a long time coming and I want to thank everyone for their support and love all these years. You’re continued love and support of me and my music will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Love ya.
