NATCHEZ — An Adams County woman filed a report with sheriff’s office deputies Monday after two window air conditioning units were reportedly stolen from her Tate Road property.

Adams County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Lt. Cal Green said the victim’s cousin called her Thursday reporting that the curtains were visibly blowing out of the window of rental property the woman owns.

When the woman went to investigate, she discovered two air conditioning units missing but everything else seemed to be in place, Green said.

The units are valued at $300 each, for a total of $600, Green said.
