On June 24, Natchez Walmart family and friends are hosting a coed softball benefit for Raymond Burns.
Raymond was in a four-wheeler accident several weeks ago and is in Jackson at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in the intensive care unit because of a head injury.
Burns works night shift at Walmart and has been employed for 8 years. He has one son and his mom Dora has been staying at the hospital since his wreck.
The reason for this benefit is to help with expenses and be able to allow his mom to stay close by and help take care of her son. Entry fee $150 and will be at Cester Willis Field in Natchez right off Liberty Road.
If anyone would like to make a donations of any kind, we need teams, concession stand items, umpires and raffle items. Even if you don’t play ball, you can still contribute.
Come by the day of the benefit and make a donation or buy lunch.
We will also be giving out first, second and third place trophies.
I encourage you to come on out and lets all make a difference.
Thanks you so very much.
