NATCHEZ — Services for Eliza M. Quinn, 89, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at King Solomon Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Quinn was born Sept. 28, 1927, in Lessley, the daughter of Frank and Sallie Tolliver McQuarters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Cicero Quinn Jr.; her parents; five brothers, Wilford, Earl, James, Frank and Leonard McQuarters; and three sisters, Edna Fitzgerald, Annette Mitchell and Birtena Ransom.

Survivors include one son, Cicero Quinn III and wife, Darlene, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three daughters, Alexine Jordan of Brookhaven, Alzina Duncan of Baton Rouge, and Deloris Quinn Profice and husband, Alexander, of Natchez; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Jordan and wife, Kechia, of Brookhaven, Janelle Graham of Byram, Shaneka Smalls of Jacksonville, Fla., Tywanda Watts of Fort Worth, Texas, Kevin Profice of Norman, Okla., Dr. Alexine Wright and husband, Lorenzo, of Gulfport and Cicero Quinn IV of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Viola Bennett and Estelle Banford of Natchez; one brother, Charles McQuarters of New Orleans; three brothers-in-law, Joseph Ransom of New Orleans, Henry Quinn and wife, Audrey, of Chicago, and Sampson Quinn of Natchez; four sisters-in-law, Sara McQuarters of Vidalia, Mary Fitzgerald and Delia Quinn of Natchez, and Ruth McQuarters of New Orleans; 14 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
