NATCHEZ — Services for Marilyn Rose Taylor Jackson, 71, of Natchez, who died Friday June 9, 2017, at her resident, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Father David O’Connor officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jackson was born January 17, 1946 in Natchez the daughter of Clyde K. Taylor and Josephine Martello Taylor. She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1964. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Assumption Catholic Church for 51 years. She was an Art Instructor at Copiah-Lincoln Community College Natchez for many years, and a Hairdresser for 47 years.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, JoAnne Hoggatt; and one daughter-in-law McKenzie Jackson.

Survivors include her husband, Clark R. Jackson of Natchez; four sons, Clark R. Jackson Jr. and wife, Mary, of Natchez, Bryan Clyde Jackson and wife, Amanda, of Natchez, Carey Nathaniel Jackson and fiancée, Renee Seab, of Natchez, and Eric Taylor Jackson and wife, Gayla, of Natchez. nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Connie Lipscomb of Brandon; one brother, Clyde Taylor Jr. of Starkville; a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Jackson, Rusty Anders, Rusty Jackson, Bobby Lipscomb, Jake Anders, Dale Jackson and Earl McElroy.
