JONESVILLE — Services for Barbara Nell Mount, 74, of Monterey, who died Wednesday, May 24, 2107, in Sulphur, La., will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Lismore Baptist Church in Jonesville with the Rev. James Shirley, the Rev. Byran Gray and the Rev. Dennis Baker officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.

Mrs. Mount was born July 9, 1942, in Sulphur, the daughter of Curly Joseph Taylor and Edith Koonce Watson.

She loved cooking, spending time with her family, shopping and supporting the Louisiana State University Tigers.

Mrs. Mount was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and a caregiver to the community. She will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger Mount; one grandson, Charles Baxter Burnette; and one brother, Kyle Wade Watson.

Survivors include two daughters, Christine Rowland and husband, Perry, of Orange Beach, Fla., and Esther Burnette and husband, Dean, of Many, La.; one son, Roger Mount II and wife, Paula, of Monterey; her dad who raised her, Henry Wade Watson; one brother, Terry Taylor; one aunt, Iris Tressler, all of Sulphur; 11 grandchildren, Devin Wulfkuhle and husband, Cody, Jacob Rowland, Trey Burnette, Gavin Burnette, Courtney Mount, Katlyn Mount, Carly Mount, Molleigh Mount, Jaxynn Mount, Dylan Palmer and Graycie Wiley; one great-grandson, Beaux Wulfkuhle; and one great-granddaughter, Alli Wulfkuhle.

Pallbearers will be Dean Burnette, Jacob Rowland, Trey Burnette, Gavin Burnette, Dylan Palmer, Cody Wulfkuhle, Terry Taylor, Jeremy Taylor, Casey Edwards, Wesley Mount, Michael Oquinn and Beaux Wulfkuhle.
