FERRIDAY — Services for John Henry “Mr. Frank” Lee, 83, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Everett Schiele officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Lee was born Jan. 1, 1934, in Ferriday, the son of Ernest and Matildia Montgomery Lee.

He was a retired plumber. He also enjoyed tending to his garden.

Survivors include his wife, Joe Helen Lee; one stepdaughter, Lula Mae Simmons of Ferriday; three sisters, Clara Lee of Ferriday, Elizabeth Carter and Mildred Robinson, both of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister-in-law, Fay Lee of Sacramento; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
