WOODVILLE — Services for Ardis Carter Geter Cobb, 91, of Woodville, who died Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Natchez Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, will be 2 p.m. today at Pioneer Baptist Church in Woodville with the Rev. Warren Whitaker and the Rev. Bernard Waites officiating.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home in Centreville.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Cobb was born June 27, 1925, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Dave Carter and Myrtle Floyd Carter.

She was a retired bookkeeper for Concordia Bank and a lifelong member of Pioneer Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by her parents; and husbands, H.C. Freeman, Leo A. Geter Jr. and Clifford L. Cobb.

Survivors include one daughter, Ann G. Rosso of St. Francisville, La.; two sons, Billy Wayne Freeman and wife, Barbara, of Woodville and Jerry Geter and wife, Denise, of Natchez; one sister, Bobbye June Ashley of Huntsville, Ala.; one brother, Julius M. Carter of Natchez; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
