Wilkinson County Christian Academy sent three teams to the MAIS Class AA State Tournament at Ridgeland Tennis Center on Wednesday.

Two of those three teams couldn’t advance past the semifinals, while another did advance to the finals. In No. 1 Girls Doubles, South No. 2 seed Sara Robinson and Anna Clair Ryan lost to North No. 1 seed B. Pace and C. Bowan of Canton Academy in the semifinals. No results were available for that match.

In No. 1 Boys Doubles, South No. 2 seed Tal Redhead and Cole Gardner lost to North No. 2 seed H. Vaughn and B. Brumfield of Canton Academy in the semifinals, but no results were available for that match.

In No. 2 Boys Doubles, South No. 2 seed Hunter Burgess and Andrew Sessions upset North No. 1 seed H. Judson and J. Davis of Oak Hill Academy, 6-2, 6-4. In the finals, South No. 1 seed E. McDill and S. Gunn of Newton County Academy defeated Burgess and Sessions, 6-0, 7-5.
