Spring has arrived and crawfish are in season! This can only mean one thing…
Cathedral’s Crawfish Countdown.
This weekend Cathedral School will host the 33rd Annual Crawfish Countdown. Join us from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, May 12 in the school cafeteria. We will be serving all the fresh, boiled crawfish and trimmings you can eat, along with Mr. Pat Sanguinetti’s hot jambalaya and home-made desserts. In addition to the mouth-watering food and a chance to win the $5,000 grand prize.
Tickets are $100, which covers two people for a night of food, ice cold beverages and a chance to win $5,000. Second chance insurance is available for an additional $30. This allows your ticket, if drawn within the first 100 tickets, to be placed back in the drawing for a second chance at the grand prize of $5,000. FYI: The door prizes this year are fabulous!
Takeout orders will also be available the night of Crawfish Countdown between 6 and 7 p.m. Take-out orders are $40 per person and include “crawfish and trimmings” only. Orders will be prepared and packaged at the time of the order.
So y’all grab your friends and join us for the 33rd Annual Crawfish Countdown from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday. Just a polite reminder, you must be at least 21 years of age to attend this event, and you don’t have to be present to win. Tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the event, any school office or simply go onto our website www.cathedralgreenwave.com.
If you have any questions, please call Cathedral’s Development Office at 601-445-9844, or email this year’s chairperson Karri Simpson at karri_simpson1@yahoo.com. We hope to see you all there!
