NATCHEZ — Services for Shirley Jean Collier Lee, 77, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Stanton Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Purvis officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday at the church.
Mrs. Lee was born Jan. 14, 1940, in Franklin County, the daughter of Claude Claiborne Collier and Eddice Havard Collier.
Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Claude C. Collier Jr., Charles Collier, John Collier, Howard Collier, Michael Collier and Wayne Collier; and two sisters, Myrtis Green and Juanita Collier.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy T. Lee; one son, Ronny D. Lee and wife, Gerilyn; one daughter, Rebecca L. Porter and husband, Joey; three grandchildren, Amanda L. Howington and husband, Lloyd, Jason A. Porter and fiancée, Brandy, and Jessica E. Porter and fiancé, Richard; one great-grandchild, Peyton L. Howington, all of Natchez; one brother, Bobby Collier and wife, Sherry, of Denham Springs, La.; two sisters, Eddice Curtis and Dorothy O’Neal, both of Natchez; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be family.
The family extends a special thank you to Home Health, hospice and her caregivers for their generosity and care.
