FERRIDAY — Memorial services for Paul W. Faulkner, 77, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, April 16, in Dunbarton, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Rev. Elbert Sanson officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Mr. Faulkner was a retired truck driver with Atlas/T.L. James Trucking. After retirement, he worked with the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Paul served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He loved fishing and spending time with his grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie P. Faulkner and Mary Lucille Faulkner; his wife, Shirley Marshall Faulkner; four brothers, Harold, Tommy, Billy and Mickey Faulkner; and two sisters, Bobby Davis and Mary Alice Wilkerson.
Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Faulkner of Ferriday; one son, James Paul Owens and wife, Kimberly, of Downsville, La.; one grandson, Fisher Owens of Downsville; one stepdaughter, Darlene Davis of West Monroe, La.; one stepson, Jimmy Pecanty and wife, Elaine, of Monterey; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Neil Faulkner of Ferriday; three sisters, Linda Cook and husband, Wayne, of Natchez, Norma Franklin and husband, Sonny, of Clinton, La., and Martha Ann Southworth and husband, Dan, of DeQueen, Ark.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
