NATCHEZ — Services for Alice Jane Brown, 77, of Ridgecrest, who died Monday, April 10, 2017, at her residence, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Cullum officiating.
Burial will follow at Enlow Cemetery in Wilkinson County under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown was born Sept. 29, 1939, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Henry Lee Smith and Malinda Murray Smith.
She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother.
She is preceded by her parents and her husband, James Frederick Brown.
Survivors include three sons, David Brown and wife, Lois, of Natchez, Willie Brown and wife, Rebecca, of Ridgecrest, and Charles Brown of Clarksville, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Jessica Skates and husband, Adam, Matthew Brown, Mallorie Siano and husband, Julian, Angela Champagne and husband, Jamie Pretty, Christie Adams and husband, Austin, and Lexi Brown; nine great-grandchildren, Allison Belle Skates, Pauline Annette Siano, Margot Jane Siano, Houston Pretty, Charles Champagne, Trey Lowery, Dylan Lowery, Zoie Adams and Meagan Adams; one great-great-grandchild, Raeleigh Lowery; one brother, Henry Lee Smith and wife, Betty, of Knoxville.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Brown, Carl Smith, Neal Smith, Adam Skates, Jamie Pretty and David Ozburn.
