MEADVILLE — Services for James Lois “Sonny” McCaa, 70, who died Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Natchez Rehabilitation, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Meadville with the Rev. Eric Moak officiating.
Burial will follow at Sarepta Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday, both at the funeral home.
Mr. McCaa was born July 7, 1946, in Jefferson County, the son of Charles Wesley and Mittie Ezell McCaa.
He was a member of Sarepta Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding, walking and watching TV. He was a loving son, brother and friend.
Mr. McCaa was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dorothy McCaa Upton.
Survivors include five sisters, Maxine McCaa Foy, Betty Jean McCaa, Christine McCaa LeBlanc and husband, Henry, Mildred McCaa Rankin and husband, John, and Billie McCaa Freeman; four brothers, C.W. McCaa and wife, Essie, Jim McCaa and wife, Georgia, Rayford McCaa and Doyle McCaa and wife, Lula; and a number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Natchez Rehabilitation and the staff of Camellia Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Sarepta Baptist Church.
