NATCHEZ — Natchez police are searching for four armed suspects who reportedly robbed the Zipy convenience store on Old Washington Road early Tuesday morning.
Natchez Police Sgt. Jerry Ford said the store’s clerk had just come outside to take out trash while a custodian was cleaning the parking lot when four masked men armed with guns reportedly approached the store at approximately 3 a.m.
The suspects reportedly made the clerk and custodian go inside the store, and the suspects took an undisclosed amount of money.
No one was reported injured during the robbery, Ford said.
The suspects appeared to be men, Ford said, and were dressed with their faces and bodies nearly fully covered.
Zipy is the sixth convenience store to be reported robbed in approximately the past six weeks. Two arrests were made in the previous robberies.
