NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Marie Watkins Brown, 90, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, will be 11 a.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. John Collard officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown was born Feb. 15, 1927, in Winnsboro, La., the daughter of Henry and Bertha Watkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Brown and her youngest son, Kenneth L. Brown.
Survivors include three daughters, Myrtis Marie Brown Dantzler and husband, Jerry, of Ferriday, Barbara Elizabeth Brown Hughes of Vidalia, and Junice Diann Brown Burgess and husband, Doss, of North Little Rock, Ark.; one son, Henry Callie Brown Jr. of Vidalia; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one sister, Leda Moore of Natchez, and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Dantzler, Doss Burgess, Jay Dantzler, Kevin Coley and Chris Huff.
