NATCHEZ — Services for G.T. Kelly, 84, of Natchez, who died Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the V.A. Medical Center in Jackson, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Kelly was born Nov. 8, 1932, in Carthage, the son of John Ealy Kelly and Bonnie Ann Bryan Kelly.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He served on the U.S.S. Block Island. He was a meat market manager and butcher for a number of years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and four brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Grace Kelly; three children, Frances Garner of Natchez, Cindy Walters of Vidalia and Buddy Kelly Jr. of Jackson; six grandchildren, Cathy Maples, Jennifer Hoke, Richard “Rick” Walters, John Allen Walters, Amanda Middleton and Blake Kelly; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Travis Kelly of Collins.
Pallbearers will be Steve Dukes, Duane Walton, John Walters, Randy Maples, Ricky Walters and Jimmy Garner.
