NATCHEZ— Services for Alma Delaughter Maddox, 97, of Natchez, who died Thursday, March 2, 2017, were Monday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Denny Calloway and Dick Root officiating.
Burial followed in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Maddox was born Aug. 29, 2017, the daughter of William T. Delaughter and Ozzie Kelley Delaughter.
She was a homemaker and also employed over 16 years as a customer service representative with McRae’s Department Store. She was a member of Briarwood Church of Christ.
Mrs. Maddox was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Maddox; three sister, Inez Walcott, Mildred Vedrenne and Marguerite Tirrill; and two brothers, Ray Delaughter and Monty Delaughter.
Survivors include one daugther, Suzanne Maddox; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank her caregiver, Belinda Hollins.
