NATCHEZ — Services for Jessika  Nakeedra Scott, 30, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, La., will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Second Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Leroy White officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Natchez.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel in Natchez and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Scott was born March 4, 1986, the daughter of Paul Scott and Myra Reason.
She was a 2004 graduate of Natchez High School and liked graphic design. She was especially fond of her special nephew, Tre’ and her dog, Miley.
Ms. Scott was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Millie Murray Washington and Alfred Reason; paternal grandparents, Concernilla and John Scott; one uncle and one aunt.
Survivors include her parents; sister, Jeleesia Scott of Alexandria; nephew, Henry “Tre” Dorty III of Alexandria; special brother, Juan Reason of Wylie, Texas; three uncles, Nathaniel Reason and Steve Washington, both of Natchez and Raymond Page and wife, Mary of Waxahachie, Texas; ten aunts, Anna Reason of Atlanta, Decher Washington of Dallas, Marcella Brown and husband, Henry, Shirley Simpson, Adell Dennis, Joyce Scott, Dorothy Reason and husband, Chester, Doris Jones, all of Natchez, Wylle B. Robinson and husband, Joseph of Greenville, Miss. and Betty Jones of Las Vegas, Nev.; two great uncles; five great aunts; and a number of cousins, friends and loved ones.
