ST. JOSEPH — A memorial service for Henry Kavanall Metcalf Jr., 62, of Monterey, who died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Episcopal Church of St. Joseph with the Rev. Greg Riley and the Rev. Billy Talbert officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Mr. Metcalf was born Jan. 12, 1955, in Newellton, La., the son of Henry Kavanall Metcalf Sr. and Marguerite Hartzog Metcalf.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Dolores Mize and Bobbie Jean Skipper.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Patricia Alwell Metcalf; two sons, Reuben Metcalf and Adrian Metcalf, both of Monterey; one brother, Chuck Metcalf and wife, Susie, of Monterey; and five sisters, Martha Sanders and husband, Billy, of Waterproof, Beverly Rushing and husband, Charles, of Monterey, Elaine Sell and Pauline Ross and husband, Buddy, all of Oak Grove, La., and Ritsy Simpson and husband, Dennis, of Camden.
