NATCHEZ — Services for Janora “Jenny” White, 78, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fayette, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness with Johnny Wilson officiating.
Burial will follow at Tenner Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Bude chapel and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at Kingdom Hall.
Mrs. White was born Feb. 10, 1938, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Grover Tenner Sr. and Hazel Beatrice Tenner.
She was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Mrs. White preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Allen White Sr.; one daughter, Faye Marie White; and one sister, Nettie Tenner.
Survivors include five daughters, Shirley Kaho and husband, Elbert, Verean McGehee and husband, Robert, Allean White, Patricia Holmes and husband, Clyde, and Bonnie Dunn and husband, Willie; two sons, Allen White Jr. and wife, Maxine, and Andrew White and wife, Darlene; two sisters, Rusie Layton and Flora Richardson and husband, Julian; five brothers, Grover Tenner Jr. and wife, Norma, Roscoe Tenner, Horace Tenner and wife, Shirley, Phillip Tenner and wife, Diane, and Don Tenner; 26 grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
