NATCHEZ — Services for Brenda Gayle Minor Murray, 58, of Natchez, who died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Friday at George F. West Sr. Memorial Chapel at West Gate Funeral Home.  
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday, both at the funeral home.
Mrs. Murray was born June 28, 1958, in Natchez, the daughter of Rural Edward Davis and Eloise B. Minor.
She was a 1977 graduate of North Natchez High School and was employed by Natchez Market and Dutch Ann.
Brenda was Baptist. She enjoyed playing pool, cooking, traveling, dancing and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Beatrice J. Holmes and James Minor; two uncles, Robert “Big Bob” Minor and Leon Minor; one aunt, Rosie Lee Minor; two nephews, Shedrick Minor and Donderic Minor; and special friends, Harvey Ransom and Richard Jenkins.
Survivors include her husband, Aaron Murray III; two sons, Michael Minor and wife, Dawn, and Kevin Minor; one brother, Phillip L. Minor; four sisters, Sharlene Campbell and husband, Robert, Catherine Watson and husband, Kenny, Carolyn Minor Edmonson and Joyce Minor; godmother, Evelyn Marie Bims; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two uncles, Charles Minor and Lee Etec Minor; one aunt, Audry Minor; and a number of other relatives and friends.
