FAYETTE — Services for Edward Snyder Jr., 94, of Fayette, who died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at Jefferson County Hospital, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Hollywood Baptist Church in Fayette with the Rev. E. Colenburg officiating.  
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Thursday at the church.
Mr. Snyder was born Nov. 9, 1921, the son of Edward Snyder Sr. and Lucy Kelly Snyder Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Ruby Lee Duck and Barbara J. Snyder Clerk; and two sisters, Rosa Snyder Chiplin and Johnnie Mae Johnson Starks.
His precious memories will forever linger in the hearts and minds of his beloved family, one daughter, Verna Mae Cameron of Jackson; five sons, Elie Snyder, Burnell Snyder and wife, Virginia, of Fayette, Johnny Lee Snyder of Hattiesburg, Ricky Mason of Memphis, Tenn., and John Archie of Chicago; a special granddaughter, Kimeyarus L. Clark; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
