NATCHEZ — Services for Cheryl Jeanne Hammett Everhart, 55, of Vidalia, La., who died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, in her residence, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez with Bobby Mulvihill officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Mrs. Everhart was born Sept. 21. 1961, in Natchez, the daughter of Martin Leon Hammett Jr. and Lora Lee Vines Mims.
She lived in and raised her family in Vidalia for more than 25 years. Her grandsons were the light of her life.
Mrs. Everhart was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Allen Everhart; her mother and stepfather, Bennie Mims.
Survivors include her father, Martin Hammett Jr., of Clayton; one daughter, Nicole Kossum and husband, Brian, of Vidalia; one step-son, Allen Everhart, of Vidalia; one brother, Marty Hammett and wife, Diane, of Clayton; two grandsons, Caden Kossum and Walker Kossum; one granddaughter, Avah Everhart; and numerous nieces, nephews, close family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Brian Kossum, Drew Kossum, Allen Everhart, Dennis Hammett, Brandon Welch and Bobby Willis.
