FAYETTE — Services for Richard Maurice Smith, 41, of Fayette, who died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, were noon Wednesday at East Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. James Wells officiating.  
Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Mr. Smith was born Feb. 19, 1975, in Vicksburg, the son of Bill and Lauretta Franklin Smith.
