MEADVILLE — Services for Kennan Myron “Papa” Jenkins, 23, of Roxie, who died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Franklin County High School auditorium in Meadville with the Rev. Rickey O’Quinn officiating.
Burial will follow at Jenkins Family Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Bude chapel and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the school auditorium.
Mr. Jenkins was born Dec. 20, 1992, in Natchez, the son of Frank Jenkins III and Trellis Jenkins.
He was a member of Kirby West Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Frank Jenkins II; maternal grandparents, Rosie Lee Williams and James “Bell” Williams; great-grandparents, the Rev. Leon Washington and Annie Lee Washington; and great-grandmother, Ethel “Madea” Hunt.
Survivors include his parents; one son, Charles Day, all of Roxie; three sisters, Trelondy McInnis and husband, Vernon, of Hattiesburg, Sharita Washington of Byram and Breyanna Williams; one brother, DeKevionne Buie; a special lady, KéAmery Washington; grandmother, Rose Jenkins, all of Roxie; one niece, Kyra McInnis; two nephews, Kymarion McInnis and Josiah McInnis, all of Hattiesburg; and a number of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
