NATCHEZ — Services for Lore Patt Stanley, 83, of Natchez, who died Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, at Promise Rehabilitation Hospital in Vidalia, surrounded by her family who dearly loved her, will be 1 p.m. today at Riverside Baptist Church in Natchez with the Rev. Spruce Derden officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Stanley was born July 30, 1933, in Amite County, the daughter of Ebbie Patt and Birdie Merritt Patt.
She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. She was a homemaker who loved the outdoors and especially working in her garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Foster Stanley; one daughter, Sharon Renee Stanley; one son, David B. Stanley; and five siblings.
Survivors include two sons, Roy Gene Stanley and wife, Kelly, of Vidalia, and Dennis L. Stanley of Natchez; one daughter-in-law, Susan Stanley of Natchez; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one special niece, Connie Lambert; two sisters, Trish O’Neal of Covington, La., and Peggy Smith of Ringgold, Ga.; two brothers, John W. Patt of Natchez and Melvin Patt of Ohio; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Hutto, Cody Lambert, Troy Whittington, Mike Lavigne, Johnny Lambert and Mike Collier.
