First Presbyterian Church Christmas service was uplifting

As a long time member of First Presbyterian Church in Natchez, I want to publicly thank our choir director Sharon Rouse, conductor Jim Franklin and narrator Marc Doyle for a magnificent 10:30 a.m. Christmas Cantata this past Sunday, Dec. 4. The orchestra and choir were exceptional.

It was wonderful, spiritual and uplifting for our church members and visitors to hear such beautiful music at our historic downtown church on the corner of Pearl and State streets. The program included our hand-bell choir, children’s choir and Biblical scenes by our members depicting Christmas themes. Whew!

Our ministers, Noelle and Danny Read and Rouse set out to uplift us with the Christmas spirit. They succeeded! I won’t even try to name all who participated for fear of leaving out names of some of these special people who participated.
